Odontoglossum/Oncidium

I've grouped the two genera Odontoglossum and Oncidium together. Both are natives of the tropical regions of the Americas. They are frequently interbred with each other and with other genera. The hybrids produced are favorites of many amateur orchid growers in the U.S. both because of their availability and their ease of growing.

	Odontioda Harrod's Forever 'Sheila' x Aviewood 'Hawk Hill', A cross of Cochlioda and Odontoglossum.		Same as left. Close-up of flowers.
	Brassidium Wild Warrior 'Chieftan' A cross of Brassia and Oncidium.		Colmanara Wildcat. A popular hybrid among orchid enthusiasts. Derived by crossing members of the genera Miltonia, Odontoglossum, and Oncidium.
	Burrageara Living Fire 'Redman'. A cross of the genera Cochlioda, Miltonia, Odontoglossum, and Oncidium.		Same as left. Close-up of flowers.
	Howeara Lava Burst. A cross between members of the genera Leochilus, Oncidium, and Rodriguezia. The flowers are about 3/8" across.		Degamoara Flying High 'Stars and Bars' (HCC/AOS). An intergeneric hybrid derived from crossing Brassia, Miltonia, and Odontoglossum.
	Wilsonara Spaceman 'Moonflight' (AM/AOS). An awarded hybrid of Cochlioda, Odontoglossum, and Oncidium.		Same as left. Close-up of flowers.
