Miltonia

Miltonias' native habitat is South America, principally Brazil.  They are much hybridized by growers for the colorful and sometimes gaudy flowers that can be produced.  Flowers of the Miltonia genus and the related Miltoniopsis genus are popularly referred to as "pansy orchids" for their resemblance to pansies.
